Jen has 10+ years of experience working with youth and adults in various roles within the mental health setting. Jen is proud of the Wellness Screen program mission, as the main focus is on early identification, intervention, and connection to supportive community resources for any mental health concern that a student may be struggling with. Jen’s role consists of being a resource for community partners, school districts as well as parents. Jen and her family are a part of the Kaukauna School District, which her daughter began attending in 2016. “I am so proud that this program is within many districts in this region, and I am excited that mental wellness is becoming a part of each school’s overall culture.”
Please contact Jen if you would like to become a partner in providing this program to your students, or if you would like to donate to its cause.

I recently joined Samaritan’s fundraising team as development and events coordinator. In this role, I will support the organization by sharing mission-driven stories, engaging with donors, and coordinating community events.
I attended the University of Florida, studying broadcast journalism, and spent ten years working in local television news before transitioning to the nonprofit world. Becoming part of Samaritan allows me to use my storytelling and relationship-building skills to support the crucially important mission of mental health support in our community.
I am the mom of two boys and have called the Fox Valley home for close to 20 years. I fill my cup through watercolor painting, reading, and listening to live music.
John is responsible for accounts payable/receivable and payroll tasks at Samaritan, and he helps deftly manage our donation database. He and his partner Ellie enjoy tending to plants, pets, and their content creation pursuits on Twitch and YouTube. “I have found that Samaritan and I have the same core values surrounding mental health and general empathy for other people. It’s very fulfilling to work here.”
